TOWARD A KINDER, SMARTER FUTURE

Cornershop has one clear mission: to give the leaders, educators and children of Gen Alpha the confidence, curiosity and ethics to use AI in ways that are smart, kind and game-changing. AI isn’t just on the way, it’s already here. It’s shaping how our kids think, play, learn and dream.

Over a third of children are putting it to work for school projects, personal passions, and big ideas. And yes, it’s powerful - but it also comes with challenges: deepfakes, misinformation & plagiarism, for starters. The world is moving fast, and this generation needs to know how to create AI as their best friend and ally. By 2030, 70% of businesses will be using AI in some form, and 60% of jobs in developed countries will be influenced by it. At Cornershop, we see AI as a tool that, when understood and guided, can inspire creativity, spark innovation and fuel real-world connection. We’re here to make sure this generation is ready to take that future and run with it. The future’s here. Let’s teach it well.

about me

I began my career at Disney in a legal role filled with purpose, protecting our future generation. We were preserving stories, nurturing creativity and keeping young audiences safe. I know and celebrate the way technology like storytelling can open doors for our children… when it is used with intention. Since then, I’ve launched a design studio, worked with global tech giants and start-ups and learned how to turn complex ideas into things people can actually use. I’m also a dad to three Gen Alpha children, which means I see daily the magic and the messiness of growing up in an AI-powered world. Cornershop is my way of bringing all that experience together: law, creativity, tech and parenting to help children, fellow parents and educators navigate AI with excitement, responsibility, and the beauty and wisdom of a curious mind.

 FAQs

  • Because AI is already part of kids’ lives - in the games they play, the videos they watch, and the way they learn. This is about giving them the skills to use it with confidence, creativity, and care.

  • Generation Alpha, the kids born from 2010 onwards plus the adults guiding them. Whether they’re curious beginners or confident experimenters, we’ll meet them where they are.

  • I bring over 20 years of legal experience including my time at Disney where keeping young audiences safe was part of the job description. I hold a Juris Doctor from the University of Newcastle (NSW), a Gen AI qualification from Berkeley and certification in data protection and privacy (CIPP/E). I’ve advised everyone from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. And as a father of three Gen Alpha kids, I’m living this too.

  • One hour. Interactive. Packed with examples they’ll recognise and are age appropriate. Ending with space for exploration and plenty of questions.

  • At Cornershop, right now our entire focus is on meaningful engagement. Socials are not fitting for us while we focus our energy on delivering meaningful sessions.

  • I’ve been proudly working exclusively with Speakers for Schools for over seven years. They handle all bookings and help connect inspiring opportunities with schools across the country.

  • Ask your parents. If they give you an answer which sits between 41 and 43 they may be on to something!

Let’s talk AI, the future, and how we can help Gen Alpha make the most of both.
